Here’s a bunch of short stories on records! I think that most of these must have been hand-me-downs as they have E Perrot written on them. Neddy and Algernon’s Boat Trip actually has Elizabeth Perrot, 89 Park St, Hamilton written in red ink, so it’s likely all these records were hers.
I’ve cleaned them up a little bit, however, there’s a few clicks and pops. Also, they are scratched and the audio jumps. I’ve edited out the worse of it.
Tom and Jerry

Tom and Jerry has a different story on each side! The record is from 1953.
Snowbound Tweety

Snowbound Tweety story spans both sides of the record and tells the story of Sylvester eating Tweety when he’s about to starve. Of course, Granny isn’t too far away with the food. I’ve combined both sides into one audio track. The record is from 1959 and features the voice of Mel Blanc.
Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack and the Beanstalk on side one and the Little Fir Tree on side two. This is from about 1960. The Little Fir Tree is quite the tragic tale.
Neddy and Algernon’s Boat Trip
The stories are narrated by Uncle Peter! With Aunty Norma! Two whimsical stories. Louis the Cod really doesn’t make much sense at all as to how Louis got to play at the ball! It’s from 1957 and Uncle Peter seems to have had a series of these little story records.
Bugs Bunny meets Hiawatha

What could only be considered a dreadfully racist story these days. It does show just how rascally the rabbit is. From 1959, with the voice of Mel Blanc
Daffy Duck’s Feathered Friend

The song at the end is the best! This is the flip side of Bugs Bunny meets Hiawatha.
